A longer Algarve stay leaves room for small routines and plans that can change.
A winter stay begins well when it leaves a little space. You need not fill the first week with landmarks. Learn how the apartment works, decide where to shop and choose one walk that feels comfortable. A small daily rhythm can make a new setting familiar without turning the holiday into a timetable.
At ORIGEM, the whole first-floor apartment gives a group of up to six people a place for meals, reading and time together. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are practical facts; so are the exterior stairs. Consider how your group will use the entrance every day, including shopping and luggage, before you make a commitment.
Outdoor time follows the conditions. The upper terrace and private outdoor pool are part of the setting, but the commissioned photographs are not a forecast. Heating is conditional on eligible dates and written confirmation, and no water temperature is guaranteed. A quiet afternoon in the lounge is a useful part of the winter plan.
The public guide suggests market mornings, Praia Grande, Silves and a separately organised golf day. Treat these as movable ideas. Check routes, opening and access before setting out, then keep enough unplanned time to return to a place you liked. No excursion, transport or activity is included simply because it appears in the guide.
